How Does The Activator Work?

The Proform Activator is built upon the Principle of Vibration which states that 'Vibration Training causes instability in the human body. As a result, the muscles automatically contract at the same rate of vibration to regain stability'.

So, the higher the vibration, the higher the rate of muscle activity (within reasonable limits of course..).

Where the Activator is different from traditional workout machines is that it gives you a vibrating platform, so you can combine your traditional workout sessions with powerful vibrations to increase your muscle activity.

Here's What We Liked

This machine is very innovative and is probably one of the most radical exercise machines to be launched in the recent years. I did my cardio routines and my dumbbells on top of the Activator...I could definitely feel a big difference in my workout routines. My muscles continued to tingle much after I finished my workouts - a possible sign of the muscular activity due to vibration. Also, I was able to get through my exercise routines faster, since the Activator allowed me to increase my blood circulation a lot faster. Very cool indeed...
