ProForm Perspective ES Treadmill has a variety of different features which make it attractive to potential home fitness equipment enthusiasts.  It boasts such things as a 7 inch flatscreen TV which has a multicolored display, quick speed controls, incline controls and 28 different workout programs.  But it also comes with a price tag -- around $1250.  Is it worth the price?  that's what we will discuss in this article.

There are many ways to enjoy working out on a treadmill and to make the time fly by.  One of the best ways is to watch television.  The built-in TV screen provides a high-resolution and comes with excellent sound.  I am quite happy with this feature.

It also has a decent sized belt, 20 inches wide and 55 inches long.  This is good for those who plan on using the treadmill for extended periods of time.  I have found that the deck's cushioning was beneficial at reducing the pressure on my joints.  In fact, the cushioning is some of the best I have ever come across for a treadmill at this price.

As far as a speed range and the incline range, they are pretty much average.  You have a speed range of up to 12 miles an hour, and an incline range of 12% which is standard for treadmills at this price range.  Nothing groundbreaking here, but definitely adequate.

I do like the quick speed button control console.  It's very simple to operate and to switch the speed on the treadmill.  In fact, there are a row of buttons with the number 1 through 12 on them.  Whatever speed you want to go, mile per hour wise, just push the number on the console.

There is a similar layout for the incline range as well.  This is what really makes the ProForm Perspective ES Treadmill stand out.  It is not so much the range of speed and incline, but the easy accessibility of quickly changing them on the fly.

The last thing that really made this treadmill a winner for me was that it is easy to put away when you're not using it.  In fact, it can be folded up to further reduce the amount of space it takes up in storage.  When you factor this in with the quick speed controls and the 7 inch television screen, it is an excellent value for being around $1250.
