Proform Treadmill Review : How to Select A
Treadmill
Detailed
Reviews to Help You Select the Right Proform
Treadmill

When it comes
to selecting a treadmill, it really comes down to 4 criteria --
comfort, price, design and the ability to deliver a good
workout. Of
course, one is not isolated from the others.
For example,
let's say you only have $500 to spend. You can purchase the
ProForm CrossWalk 300 Treadmill for this
price. For
$500, you're not expecting to get something that is going
to last forever, nor is it going to be most
comfortable.
However, I have found that the above model is the most
comfortable and the most well-designed for that price
range.
If you have a
little bit more to spend, then you should consider the 5.0
crosstrainer treadmill. It is only $100 more than the 300, but
in my opinion is designed to last twice as
long. I
would suggest actually saving up a bit more and waiting
to purchase this model.
On the higher
end there is the Proform
Perspective ES treadmill. It sometimes retails for as
much as $2000, but also has been on sale for
$1250. In
fact, for the right financing, you can pay $40 or less a
month for it. Not only is it well
designed, but it has all the extra features you expect
for the price -- a flatscreen TV, iPod compatibility and
28 personal trainer workouts.
If you're
somebody who loves to track their fitness statistics, then you
should consider the Proform iLog 750. Not only will it track
your daily stats, but it also has the capability to track
weekly, monthly and even yearly fitness
stats. This
is an easy way to monitor your progress.
For those who
are training more for distance running, then the ProForm 7.5
distance trainer treadmill is the way to go. If that is a bit out of your
price range, you can go with the more economical ProForm 7.0
cross trainer series. It has some of the same
features as the 7.5 distance trainer, but lacks the fitness
journal that comes with the more expensive model.
For something
in between the high and the low priced treadmills, you should
consider the ProForm 5.5 cross trainer, the ProForm crosswalk
500 treadmill, and the ProForm 11.5 competitor
treadmill. Other
models on the market currently include the ProForm 9.0
competitor treadmill and the ProForm 5.0 cross
trainer.
In
conclusion, whether you have a small budget or a large one,
whether comfort is your number one option or not, or for a
variety of other reasons, there is something out there for you,
so far as a treadmill is concerned.
